You’re probably well aware by now that I love movie-related art. Well every now and again I stumble on some that’s right up my street in terms of what I get excited about sharing on this site.
These brilliant and imaginative illustrations are by an artist called Chet Phillips. They’re from a series he did called “Unnatural History”. They explore pop culture characters depicted as “vintage biology illustration studies”.
I originally found the Graboid one on Pinterest then ended up down a rabbit hole of artistic treasures.
They’re available to buy as prints and playing cards from places like Etsy and other online shops.
I think my favourite is Aliena Parasitus from The Thing (1982). Which is yours? 🤔
