Currently watching: Gremlins (1984) on Sky Christmas (channel 303).
I love this film!
My favourite bit as a kid was when the Gremlins sabotage Mrs Deagle’s electric stair lift and she goes speeding up the stairs and flying out the window. 😂
If you’re not aware, a third film has been teased for a while now with original writer Chris Columbus at the helm. He recently said that if it goes ahead he’d stick to the original puppet idea rather than going down the CGI route.
I have to admit, one thing I liked about The Last Jedi (2017) was that Yoda returned as a puppet and not the CGI version we got in the prequels. 😵
Final thought: Is Gremlins a Christmas film..? 🤔
