Last night was a big night for me!
After somehow managing to go 40 years without seeing it, I finally watched The Godfather (1972).
I said in a previous post that there are certain genres that don’t always do it for me and one of those is the gangster genre. I also said though that some of the gangster movies I’ve watched I’ve really enjoyed. I can add this one to that list coz I loved it!
Everyone in this movie was brilliant but it was Marlon Brando that stole the show for me!
I finally get why The Godfather is such a classic.
I can’t wait to see what the other two films have to offer. I’ll be watching them over the next couple of days. 👍
