It’s Saturday which means it’s time for another Superior Sequels debate!
I’ve been saving this one since it’s a big one among fans.
The two films at the centre of today’s discussion are:
The Godfather (1972) vs The Godfather: Part II (1974).
If you’ve been following this site or my Facebook page since the beginning you’ll know that I watched all three of The Godfather films for the first time back in May.
I know The Godfather: Part II is often regarded as the best in the trilogy but personally I much preferred the first one. This isn’t about what I think though, It’s about what you think!
Is The Godfather: Part II indeed superior, or is the film that introduced us to the Corleone family and has the now legendary horse’s head in the bed scene just too good to beat?
