Jim Carrey once said that whenever he does a TV show most people think of him as his character from Dumb and Dumber, so one day he thought it would be funny to “partner up with the smartest man on the earth”.
He got in touch with Stephen Hawking (as you do) and asked him if he’d be up for doing an over-the phone comedy sketch on his upcoming appearance on the “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” show. Hawking agreed and it all went ahead with lots of laughter from the audience.
After this, the two struck up a friendship and Carrey was invited round for dinner where he asked Stephen Hawking if he’d pose for a photo. This is the result. 😆👌
