The Faculty (1998)

I just watched The Faculty (1998) for the first time in ages!!

I’ve actually never been a big fan of Josh Hartnett (with the exception of Lucky Number Slevin and 30 Days of Night) but I forgot how enjoyable this movie is. It’s probably more to do with the 90s nostalgia than it is how good the film is, but still, I really enjoyed it.

I also forgot how many stars are in it! Elija Wood (Lord of the Rings trilogy), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgement Day), Selma Hayek (From Dusk Till Dawn), Famke Janssen (The X-Men trilogy) and Christopher McDonald (Shooter McGavin from Happy Gilmore) to mention just a few.

If you haven’t seen it, it’s basically a re-imagining of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers idea and definitely worth a watch, especially if you grew up in the 90s. The song “Stay Young” by Oasis that plays over the end credits is the icing on the cake for me. 👌

What are you watching tonight? 🤔
