Josh Brolin recently broke down his most iconic characters in a video for GQ, and while talking about his early role as Brandon Walsh in the much beloved movie The Goonies (1985) he said:
“When people haven’t seen The Goonies I think that something might, like, be wrong with their DNA, or something.”
And I think I’d have to agree with him. I know a few people of my generation or similar who have never seen it and it always blows my mind.
I understand that certain movies might not be to everyone’s tastes, but I sometimes wonder how you can miss a film that’s been around for four decades and has been shown on TV a gazillion times. Still, each to their own.
