Apologies for the Harry Potter overload recently but I’m on a mission!
If you somehow missed my previous posts, I’m watching all of the films for the first time. I’m over halfway there now coz last night I watched:
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007).
I absolutely loved this one! In fact I think it’s my favourite so far.
I love that everything’s ramped up over the last couple of films. Things are definitely starting to get serious. 😬
One of the things I like about these films is although there’s an ongoing bigger story, each film is it’s own adventure and can be enjoyed without necessarily having to have seen the others (although it does help).
The finale of this one where the Order of the Phoenix shows up to battle the Death Eaters - then the face off between Dumbledore and Voldemort, had me clenching my fists in a way I haven’t done since I watched Avengers: Endgame!
I never thought I’d be this excited about watching Harry Potter! 😆
It’s been great seeing all the characters develop, and the actors who play them grow and improve over the course of these five movies. I’ve probably noticed it more having watched them all so close together.
There’s only three left to watch now. I don’t know what I’m gonna do with myself when it’s all over...☹️
