Happy birthday (firstly to my dad) and secondly to the other legend that is Robert Downey Jr.
The first film I saw starring Robert Downey Jr. was the romantic comedy, Chances Are (1989) co-starring Cybill Shepherd. It’s a great film and if you haven’t seen it you should give it a watch.
Over the the following years he continued making movies (some better than others), notably the romantic comedy Only You (1994), U.S Marshall’s (1998) and Zodiac (2007) about the Zodiac Killer who terrorised San Francisco during the late 1960s/early 1970s.
I think we’re all aware that Robert Downey Jr. has had his fair share of personal problems in the past but luckily for us, he got his sh#t together in time to play the role we all love him for, Iron Man (2008).
I can’t imagine anyone else playing the role better!
