The two ex-lovebirds first met in 1989 at the New York premier of Great Balls of Fire. Winona Ryder was just 17 at the time. Johnny Depp was 26.
The pair embarked on a passionate four year long love affair which ended in 1993 leaving Depp with a tattoo reading “Winona Forever” on his right arm. He famously had it changed to “Wino Forever” following their separation.
According to long time friend and collaborator Tim Burton, Johnny Depp was never the same after the split. 😢
