Thoughts on Lethal Weapon 5

Last week Sky TV were showing one of my favourite film franchises, the Lethal Weapon films.

I watched 2, 3 and 4 and it got me thinking about the 5th one that’s recently been announced.

I love these films but should they leave it alone now? Will it be like Indiana Jones where a lot of people will pretend the last one was never made..?

I’m kind of intrigued but at the same time apprehensive about the news.

If you go by the timeline, Danny Glover’s character, Murtaugh was celebrating his 50th birthday in the first film (1987) so he’d be 83 this year. 🤔

Maybe they finally are “too old for this sh#t”...?
