This week on Superior Sequels we’re looking at a trilogy!
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) vs Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) vs Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
I know what you’re saying, “Hold on Mr. Screen Room Movie Podcast guy, the Indiana Jones films aren’t a trilogy”. Well I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, as far as I’m concerned that 4th film does NOT exist and I’ll have no more said about it...!
Now, as I was saying, the Indiana Jones trilogy is arguably one of the best trilogies ever made. Each film is unique in its own way and each is favoured for different reasons, but which is the best out of the three?
Is the original Indy adventure, Raiders of the Lost Ark unbeatable, or was the horror of Temple of Doom or the comedy of Last Crusade enough to make them superior sequels?
