This week on Superior Sequels we’re looking at the two films that gave birth to the big budget superhero movie genre.
Superman (1978) vs Superman II (1980).
Christopher Reeve will, to many of us always be Superman. He made four movies in total, the latter two less successful than the first but all four are loved by fans for various reasons. Today though we’re just looking at the first two.
Is Christopher Reeve’s original outing as the man of steel the better film, or was it surpassed by the second that saw him give up his powers just in time for earth to be attacked by the Kryptonian criminal General Zod and his two cohorts?
