This week on Superior Sequels we’re looking at two films from a trilogy.
Why only two? Well, mainly because the third is generally regarded as terrible (personally I wouldn’t quite go that far but whatever).
This week we’re looking at:
Spider-Man (2002) vs Spider-Man 2 (2004)
We all have our favourite versions of a character; a favourite Batman, a favourite Superman (well there’s only one really) a favourite Bond and so on. I certainly have a favourite Spider-Man and it’s Tobey Maguire.
I remember when the first film came out in 2002. I didn’t get to see it at the cinema but I got my first DVD player that Christmas and Spider-Man was the first DVD I got to play on it. It was awesome! That said, the sequel is brilliant too and if I was pushed to name a favourite, I might possibly go with Spider-Man 2...
