I know this is a movie page but once in a while I do watch a series.
I’m currently enjoying Resident Alien.
It stars Alan Tudyk (I, Robot) as an alien who crash lands on Earth and takes on the identity of a small-town Colorado doctor called Harry Vanderspeigle.
While he’s in human form, he starts to experience human emotions and begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his secret mission on Earth.
Alan Tudyk is brilliant in this! He plays the part really awkwardly with hilarious results (he’s basically learning how to act human).
The supporting cast is really good too, especially the town’s straight talking sheriff played by Corey Reynolds (The Terminal) and young Judah Prehn a kid who seems to be the only person in town that can see Harry in his true alien form.
