Now & Then: Sigourney Weaver

Sigourney Weaver is one of the original strong female leads of modern cinema. She burst (no pun intended) onto our screens as the iconic alien ass-kicking, Ripley in Alien (1979).

She brought strength AND vulnerability to the role which is something you don’t see a lot of these days.

Who knew what was just around the corner for her when this black and white photo was taken. 🙌
