It’s Movie Villain Monday!
Each week I’ll be posting a picture (and a little info) of one of my favourite villains from the many movies I’ve come to love over the years.
This week it’s my favourite of all time!
It's Hans Gruber from Die Hard (1988), played by the late great Alan Rickman.
Trivia:
Unbelievably, Die Hard was Alan Rickman’s first feature film! Until this he’d only appeared on stage and on British TV.
In fact he almost passed up the role as he’d only arrived in Hollywood two days earlier and didn’t like the idea of his first role being the villain in an action film! 😮
As much as “Yippee ki yay motherf#cker” has become the most memorable line from the film, my favourite has to be Hans Gruber’s, “Now, I have a machine gun. Ho! Ho! Ho!”
Classic!!
P.S. Die Hard is NOT a Christmas movie....! 😳
