What Filming Locations Have You Visited?
One day (hopefully fairly soon) I’d love to go to New York!
So many movies have been filmed there that I’d be in movie geek heaven wandering around seeing places that have featured in some of my favourite films!
Sadly the only places I’ve been that I’m aware have featured in movies are Las Vegas, USA (Ocean’s 11, The Hangover, Miss Congeniality 2, Casino etc etc), Prague, Czech Republic (Mission Impossible) and Wells in Somerset, UK (Hot Fuzz). I even went into the news agent there to get a Cornetto but it was February and the freezer was empty ☹️.
Here are a few photos I took while in those places.
Yours truly sat on the fountain in Wells, Somerset that featured in Hot Fuzz (2007).
The news agent in Wells, Somerset that featured in Hot Fuzz (2007).
"No luck catching them killers then?"
"It's just the one killer actually".
The pub in Wells, Somerset from Hot Fuzz (2007). Only the exterior was used in the film.
Sergeant Nicholas Angel's accommodation in Hot Fuzz (2007). Wells, Somerset, UK.
The police parking space where Simon Pegg and Nick Frost sat eyeing up potential suspects in Hot Fuzz (2007). Wells, Somerset, UK.
I got my fiancee to stand in the exact spot that Tim Messenger met his gruesome demise in Hot Fuzz (2007). Wells, Somerset, UK.
There are Hot Fuzz references like this in and around Wells.
A signed, framed police vest hanging on the wall in The Crown Pub. Wells, Somerset, UK.
Hot Fuzz locations map in The Crown Pub. Wells, Somerset, UK.
Freemont Las Vegas, USA.
The Las Vegas strip, Nevada, USA.
The Caesar's Palace lobby that featured in The Hangover (2009).
"This isn't the real Caesar's Palace is it?"
The Bellagio Hotel and fountains. Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Tom Cruise ran up these steps in Mission Impossible (1996).
Charles Bridge, Prague, Czech Republic.
I’d love to see photos of anywhere you’ve been that has featured in a film (or even a TV show).
The comments could be a very interesting place if everyone gets involved. 👍
