Closest Thing to Peter Benchley's Original "Jaws" Novel Front Cover Idea..?

I read recently that Peter Benchley, the author of Jaws originally wanted an illustration of Amity as seen through the jaws of the shark for the front cover of his best selling novel.

Apparently the image was drawn up but later scrapped due to “sexual overtones”. It was decided that the image resembled the vagina dentata (Latin for “toothed vagina”).

If you’ve ever seen the movie Teeth (2007) you’ll know what I’m talking about.
