Every now and again I’m going to post about a film that I consider to be underrated. I’ll start with this one:
After Earth (2013)
So often these days I think people forget that films are a form of entertainment. As long as I don’t feel like I’ve wasted a couple of hours of my life when the end credits role, I’m happy.
There are a lot of movies out there that aren’t Oscar winners but are still highly enjoyable to watch.
I’m not saying this or any of the films I plan to post about in the future are the best films in the world but I don’t think they deserve the amount of criticism they get.
This is an easy watch for me. It might have its share of plot holes but if you just sit back and enjoy it for what it is, it’s a pretty good movie.
Film Fact: The story was written by Will Smith and the screenplay by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense).
